Yohji Yamamoto‘s Fall/Winter 2018 presentation was one of his most-focused showings. Yamamoto honed in on the silhouette of a simple trench coat transforming it into a work of art. Though each item was black, the expert tailoring was not missed. The calf-length coats were updated with ballooning sleeves and dramatic collars elevating the item from regular to runway. Models were styled in military-inspired boots and edgy mime-like makeup to complete the outfits.
