10 Corso Como Seoul Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary With a Converse Collaboration

The Chuck Taylor All Star High and Low get whimsical makeovers.

In celebration of its 10th Anniversary, the Seoul-based arm of renowned boutique 10 Corso Como has collaborated with Converse on a limited edition collection. The range comprises of four different sneakers: the Chuck Taylor All Star ‘70 High and Low, each silhouette arriving in either a black or off-white colorway.

On each iteration, decorative details derived from the store’s signature aesthetic are seen throughout. As the most eye-catching accents, colored tags are positioned along the shoelaces and sit just above the metal eyelets. The tags themselves feature designs such as the unmistakable “O” with the dot in the centre, a stylized letter that is repeated through the shop’s branding. Cartoon versions of the Converse sneakers themselves are also used in the tag designs, as well as the Converse logo that includes the star insignia.  Rounding off the look is the “O” emblem printed at the heel of each shoe. The words “10 Years” in a small, handwritten font in black also appears along each sneaker’s midsole, adding yet another element of subdued detailing.

The Corso Como x Converse collection is slated to drop on April 19 at 10 Corso Como Seoul locations, as well as at Converse Korea’s web store. The Converse Chuck Taylor High and Low will retail at ₩169,000 KRW (approximately $158 USD) and ₩159,000 KRW (approximately $148 USD), respectively.
