Beyoncé Just Reunited with Destiny's Child on Stage at Coachella
Husband Jay-Z also joined her for a duet.
Coachella is perhaps one of the biggest weekends in music, with artists like Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, SZA and many, many more coming together and performing throughout the course of three days. The first leg of the popular festival just took place over the weekend, with the event’s most anticipated performer, Beyoncé, closing the Saturday with an extravagant and mind-blowing performance. After having to cancel her performance last year due to her pregnancy, the singer made a return to the stage this year, and was back stronger and better than ever.
Bey kicked off the show by revealing a full marching band on stage, playing her hit “Crazy in Love” while the singer sported a bright yellow hoodie and sky-high boots – all designed with Balmain‘s Creative Director Olivier Rousteing. She later sang “Déjà Vu” alongside her husband Jay-Z, followed by Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland joining her on stage. The Destiny’s Child reunion saw the three enter the stage in a Charlie’s Angels-inspired pose, before bursting into hits like “Lose My Breath,” “Say My Name” and “Soldier.” Of course, it wouldn’t be a Beyoncé performance without even more surprises. Queen Bey was also joined on stage by sister Solange, putting on an impressive dance performance before concluding the show.
