You'll Do a Double Take After Seeing This Brand's Balenciaga Triple-S Rip-Off

As well as versions of the Speed Trainer and the Gucci Ace sneakers.

There’s no doubt that Balenciaga’s Triple-S sneaker has been a catalyst for the ever-growing chunky sneaker trend, with many brands debuting their own take on the phenomenon that has swept the fashion industry. Coming with a hefty price-tag around $800 USD, the Triple-S sneaker is nowhere near cheap, which is why brands have began debuting their own knock-offs to cater to the demand for price-friendly alternatives. The most recent brand to try to capitalize on the popular sneaker is fast-fashion label Ash, which is currently selling an almost detail-by-detail copy of Balenciaga’s sneaker. Called the “Addict,” the sneakers come in a variety of colorways ranging from pink, grey, all-black and a black/volt mix, and retail at $279 USD per pair.

The label is also selling its own versions of Balenciaga‘s popular Speed Trainer, as well as the sleek Gucci Ace sneaker and PUMA’s Basket Heart silhouette. Take a look at all the rip-offs in the gallery above and decide for yourself. Is it merely inspired by the popular sneakers or just a blatant copy?
