Official photos of BLACK COMME des GARÇONS and Nike‘s Night Track have arrived and we’re in love. The retro runner mixes inspiration from the ’50s and ’70s creating a timeless silhouette that has stood the test of time. CdG adds its own layer of sophistication debuting the shoe in all-black with patent overlays for dimension.
In true Swoosh fashion, the round toe sneakers come equipped with glittery laces, paying homage to the original. The OG Nike tongue tag remains staying true the history of the footwear giant. On the back panel and footbed fans will find co-branded graphics outlined in white for contrast. A speckled outsole completes the minimal collaboration.
Shoppers will be able to pick up a pair on April 27 at Dover Street Market locations. A general release is schedule for May 1 at select Nike retailers like MEMPHIS. This is not the only footwear on-the-way for the duo. At CdG’s Fall/Winter 2018 show a Platform Cortez was debuted in white and black. There’s not word on when the lifted shoe will release so stay tuned for more information. Also be sure to mark your calendars for the brand’s online-only label that launches this summer.
