Eytys' Chunky Angel Sneaker Just Got a Monochrome Makeover

Stockholm-based brand Eytys introduced its bulky Angel silhouette last year, just as the dad shoe trend was fully taking off. Since then, the Angel has become a fan-favorite for its unique design and stylish approach to footwear.
For spring 2018, the exaggerated sneaker is back in a new colorway, dubbed Angel LWBG. This time, the brutalist-inspired trail shoe incorporates a crisp white leather upper with tonal stitching and a large heel tab. Silver-tone hiking-style eyelets and black laces provide a stark contrast to the snowy hue. Underneath sits the iconic, clunky midsole which is stacked in black with a gum layer laying below. Rounding out the unisex shoes is a heavy-duty outsole and Eytys’ branded rubber stamp on the heel. It’s the perfect alternative to sneakers like Balenciaga’s Triple-S that are currently crowding the dad shoe market.
