The Air Jordan 1 High Zip "Particle Beige" Just Got a Release Date

Peep this women’s-only exclusive.

Although the Air Jordan 1 has been seen as a “masculine” sneaker since its release way back in 1985, the silhouette has always attracted a strong, loyal female following. That dedication has resulted in the shoe also being made available in ladies’ sizing at times and, in more recent years, in bespoke styles and hues that cater more to a feminine fit and aesthetic.

Following the release of a collaboration with Aleali May, the “Season of Her” collection and The 1 Reimagined pack, it seems like the female consumer of Jordan brand is continuing to grow, and with the impending release of styles like the Air Jordan 1 High Zip in “Particle Beige,” it’s easy to see why.

This slick, premium sneaker is constructed from an ultra-soft suede fabric in a creamy, off-white tone which completely swathes the high-top style. An exposed, metallic zipper lies upon the middle, cascading down from the tongue and adding both versatility and an industrial edge to the shoe. Air Jordan‘s iconic winged emblem sits upon the lateral side in a metallic bronze tone and a red Nike Air tag stands out along the zipper. Completing the look is a clean white, cushioned midsole.

This premium sneaker is slated to release at select Jordan Brand accounts and Nike.com on April 13th for $150 USD. Take a closer look at the women’s-exclusive silhouette above whilst you await the drop. For more Jordan Brand releases, check out the Air Jordan 12 “Vachetta Tan.”
