Here's How to Cop Virgil Abloh's "GHOSTING" Converse Chuck 70
The final silhouette of the “The Ten” has arrived.
The last silhouette in Virgil Abloh x Nike‘s “The Ten” collection has surfaced. Since the capsule launched in November 2017, we’ve seen alternate colorways of the Air Force 1, Air Jordan 1 and Air VaporMax. Now it has been confirmed that the “GHOSTING” Chuck 70 will be available soon.
The Chuck 70 is an updated iteration of the Chuck Taylor All Star ‘70 borrowing elements from the classic design. Its upper is crafted from a transparent woven material that is tagged with Off-White™ branding on both sides. Translucent foxing tape with the phrase “VULCANIZED” is placed on the lateral referencing the brand’s patented rubber sole. The traditional Converse license plate is inverted on the rear in true Abloh fashion. For variety, the pair will come equipped with four sets of laces, two of which have neon-colored, TPU-dipped aglets. The sockliner is further detailed with custom “The Ten” graphics which don’t appear on any of the other shoes. A brilliant red zip tie completes the transparent beauty.
This offering will retail for $130 USD and will come in a range of women’s and men’s size. Fans who wish to cop should sign up at converse.com to stay on top of its release. Take a closer look at the limited-edition sneaker above and let us know if it’s a cop or drop.
Also be sure to peep the line’s Air Max 90 which is rumored to be releasing in “University Red.” There’s no confirmed information on this colorway but it is alleged to be stocking right in time for the winter holidays.
