Adwoa Aboah Heads to Ghana with Burberry and Juergen Teller

The third chapter of the collaboration.

Model Adwoa Aboah and famous photographer Juergen Teller previously teamed up to produce a photo series for iconic British label Burberry. Now, two have revealed the third installation of the campaign, following Aboah’s journey to Ghana to celebrate her West African heritage. The previous series were shot in London where the model was born, as well as New York where she currently lives, giving us an inside look at her personal life.

For the recent campaign, Adwoa art-directed the shoot, as well as cast her friend and British model Sonny Hall to star alongside her. “I tried very hard not to be too emotional about this trip, but it’s so special for everyone to see where the story started. To be in Ghana means coming home. I’ve been able to bring close friends of mine here, and my grandma and my family have had a taste of what the other part of my life is like,” said Adwoa on the third chapter.

Take a look at the stunning campaign in the gallery above.
