Add Charli XCX's "5 In The Morning" to Your Weekend Playlist Now

An early summer banger.

Charli XCX has returned with a new track — “5 In The Morning.” The song mixes elements of trap, hip-hop and pop to deliver an early summer banger.

She borrows flows the Migos and other popular trap acts to craft a tune that fits her style. The lyrics are unapologetic with just the right amount of bragging. It looks like there will be more to come from the pop singer who is currently on tour with Taylor Swift. According to a press statement, Charli XCX plans to release songs throughout the summer for her fans.

For the song’s cover art she sports a nude bra, mesh shirt and Buffalo London x Opening Ceremony‘s platforms in silver. She also wears her hair in a short bob with bangs to contrast the futuristic theme of the visual.

Listen to the new track above and let us know your thoughts.
