All the Gucci Handbags, Footwear and Jewelry You've Missed from Its Cruise 2019 Show

Including the PVC Ophidia Bag.

With actual flames lining the catwalk, Alessandro Michele‘s Cruise 2019 runway presentation for Gucci was probably his most dramatic yet. The show, which took place at a graveyard in Arles, France, featureed a total of 114 eerie and decadent looks that are signature of the modern era of Gucci. Inspired by the “rituals of death,” the collection is filled with religious motifs, peppered with dark, gothic design elements here and there.

Michele, who’s well-known for his maximalist approach to fashion, has once again convinced us that more is really more. While you’ve probably seen images from the runway, you’re bound to miss the numerous details featured in the show — because there are just so many. Putting a refreshing spin on existing silhouettes from the brand, the creative director has blessed us all with new handbags, footwear and accessories that we’ve become immediately obsessed with. From a transparent Ophidia bag and a rave-colored fanny pack, to cross pendant chokers and studded sandals, feast your eyes on the new Gucci creations by checking out the images above and below.

To learn more about the storied Italian fashion house, read our “Fashion Focus” story to see how Gucci evolved from a business in 1920s Florence into one of the most sought-after luxury brands today.
