Lazy Oaf's Summer 2018 Collection Is an Authentic Celebration of London
A homage to the “melting pot” city.
Following on from its adorable swimwear collection, Lazy Oaf has unveiled its vibrant Summer 2018 collection. Inspired by the brand’s “melting pot” home city of London, this lookbook showcases the genuine streets of the British capital as the backdrop for quirky, tongue-in-cheek pieces. Worlds apart from the typical tourist viewpoint of London’s iconic landmarks and quaint, Victorian streets, Lazy Oaf shares an authentic look at summer in the city, complete with taxi ranks, hair salons and fruit and veg stalls.
The collection itself remains extremely close to the brand’s ideals. Oversized silhouettes are key, with baggy T-shirts and ultra wide-leg pants available and pastel tones and playful, retro graphics reign supreme throughout. Standout pieces include an adorable washed pink denim two piece that consists of a button-up midi skirt and Bardot-style ruffled top, alongside a boxy jacket with the word “vain” embroidered on the back.
For all you cozy girls out there, check out the baby pink sweatshirt and sweatpants that feature cutout details and red hearts along the sides. Take a look through the imagery above and head to Lazy Oaf’s web store or Carnaby store to shop the collection.
