Louis Vuitton's Pre-Fall 2018 Leather Bags Are Modern Takes on Travel Classics

The Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2018 leather bags collection by creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere has us feeling nostalgic and wishing we had some extra cash. Ghesquiere has reinterpreted the classic Louis Vuitton monogram trunk with the Trunk Clutch – a playful take on the iconic shape in an array of the house’s finest materials. The Trunk Clutches appear in Monogram canvas mixed with Monogram Reverse canvas, as well as Epi leather bags in eye-catching colors including pink, white, red, and a classic black. The clutch can also be worn over the shoulder and comes complete with a removable adjustable leather or chain strap.
The Trunk Clutch also offers a play on some of the brand’s other classic shapes in the Wild collection - showcasing a mix of leather and leopard in deep browns, emerald greens, and all-out leopard print. The Wild bags are available in an ultra-retro circular shape with a small hand strap and in an on-trend Trunk Clutch shape, as well as the more contemporary Twist MM bag shape.
