'Stranger Things' and 'Black Panther' Lead Nominations for the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards

The nominations for the MTV Movie and TV Awards have been revealed. The celebration which honors actors, stories and notable pop culture moments in film will be hosted this year by comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish. Standout movies and series which have received numerous nominations include: Black Panther and Stranger Things.

As one of the top 10 highest-grossing movies of all time worldwide, Black Panther leads with seven nominations. The film will possibly walk away with wins for “Best Movie,” “Best On-Screen Team” and more. Following closely behind the Marvel powerhouse is Stranger Things, which is nominated six times, including in the “Best Show” and “Best On-Screen Team” categories. Millie Bobby Brown is also nominated for “Best Performance in a Show” for her role as Eleven.
