Nike Reveals Its New Running Silhouette — The Air Zoom Pegasus 35

Arriving in “Elemental Rose.”

On the 35th anniversary of the Air Zoom Pegasus, Nike has debuted an updated model of the silhouette dubbed the Air Zoom Pegasus 35. This running sneaker has similar design elements of the original but is updated with new Swoosh features for optimal performance.

Just like the 1983 OG, the Pegasus 35 holds a Nike Zoom Air and Cushlon midsole that helped make it the brand’s best-selling shoe. New details include a notched tongue to make it easier to slip the runner on and off. The bottom eyelet is repositioned giving the foot more room to flex and breathe. The women’s model has a slightly softer foam designed to accommodate the female foot. Completing the shoe is a beveled heel that helps alleviates pressure with each step.

The Peg35 will release in “Elemental Rose” on May 15. A “Crimson” colorway will follow on June 1. Both hues will be available at nike.com and other select retailers. Take a closer look at the pink colorway above and be sure to mark you calendars.
