Fiorucci's Latest Lookbook Is All About the Future

“In the future, technology means transparency.”

For its Pre-Spring 2019 collection, Fiorucci flashes forward to the future. The pieces are all inspired by old-school ’70s vibes mixed with sci-fi and futuristic references, resulting in a Blade Runner-esque aesthetic featuring a range of materials. From mesh panelling to reflective and holographic textures, the program is all about exploring. “In the future, technology means transparency. See it, click it, wear it. Fine gauze, mesh, see through pants,” said the label about the collection.

The futuristic capsule is inspired by the sentiment that “the hedonism of the past is catapulted into a space-age stratosphere, and the partygoers are all wearing Fiorucci.” From big puffer jackets to reflective sets – nothing is off limits. “Shakespeare once said that all the world’s a stage. Elio Fiorucci said that all the world’s a party,” said the brand about the collection. Take a look at the vibrant range in the gallery above and pick your favorite pieces – they’ll be available in-store and online from October. For more from the label, don’t miss its latest bodysuits.
