You Can Now Request Your Favorite Movies & TV Shows on Netflix
Submit up to three titles.
Netflix has quietly confirmed that users can make requests for new titles on its streaming platform. The company’s Philippines Twitter account responded to a subscriber who wished to request comedian Chelsea Peretti’s One of the Greats stand up special. The tweet read “you know the drill” with a link to the “Title Request” page which many don’t know exists.
The request page leaves fields for up to three titles with a quick prompt for visitors:
“Have a TV show or movie you’d like to see on Netflix? Tell us about it below! This form is the one and only place to submit content requests. Wondering why a TV show or movie was available and now it’s gone? Check out Why do TV shows and movies leave Netflix? for more info!”
There are certain programs that Netflix won’t be able to stream because of previous network contracts but there are many that users will now be able to request in the hopes that it arrives in the upcoming months.
