For Chanel‘s Fall 2018 Couture show, Karl Lagerfeld pulled out all the stops. The runway presentation was filled with lavish looks following a theme of simple elegance. Many of the looks were exemplified by a panel of gaudy sequins paired with chic leather booties. The color palette is made up of relaxed hues including grey, black, cream and pops of color like red and light green.
The final look worn by Adut Akech was perhaps the most vibrant outfit of all. The bridal pieces consisted of a mint green headpiece and jacket matched with a lengthy, flowy skirt. Each of the aforementioned items also came with matching sequins. Another pairing worth noting is the first look which then sets the scene for the entire range. The long grey blazer and skirt are both well-tailored separates. The blazer was constructed with an arm cut-out portion and topped off with purple and silver, glitzy sequins.
