Gucci Drops Its Whimsical Fall/Winter 2018 "Gucci Collectors" Campaign
Featuring the oversized, bejewelled SEGA sneaker.
Following up on the vibrant Gucci Garden capsule, the luxury fashion house reveals its Fall/Winter 2018 campaign. This season’s campaign sheds light on the fictional, “Gucci Collectors.” The inspiration was derived from actual individuals who are in love with collecting artifacts and vintage collectibles.
The FW18 collection originally debuted on the runway at Milan Fashion Week alongside bold patterns and mythical creatures like a dragon. Familiar items from the runway presentation include gaudy oversized outerwear and the SEGA sneakers. Each room in the campaign includes a character engulfed by a thematic object which they are passionate about.
The items seen in the imagery will be available at select stockists later this year. Take a look at the campaign in the gallery above. If you’re looking for currently shoppable pieces from Gucci, check out all the Spring/Summer 2018 items which just dropped.
