The Sneaker Edit: Summer Conversation Starters Including Nike's Air Force 1 Jewel Pack

Available in three distinct colorways.

This week’s lineup of “The Sneaker Edit” highlights editor-approved picks from Nike, adidas Originals and more. As summer kicks into full gear, it’s important to find a comfortable pair of trainers to throw on with anything. If you’ve been searching for sneakers that are great conversation starters, this week’s offerings are just for you. We’ve got our eyes on Nike’s Air Max 1 Anniversary silhouette in “White/University Red” and adidas Originals’ Prophere in “Triple White.”

If you’ve been searching for footwear exemplified with red detailing, Nike’s AM1 Anniversary in “White/Varsity Red” is your ideal match. This pair includes a red Swoosh, tonal branding alongside a leather and mesh makeup. The adidas Originals Prophere originally debuted back in December. Now arriving in “Triple White,” this pick comes with an all-white construction topped off by cream panels. Pair these with a piece from Off-White™’s FW18 collection available to shop now.

Additionally, Nike also offers up a refreshing trio of colorways to choose from. The recently released Air Force 1 “Jewel” pack features three different hues including a white tone titled “Phantom,” a deep green “Neutral Olive” and a sky blue ”Royal Tint” iteration. Each of these comes with a metallic gold Swoosh, a white sole and tonal lacing.

For lovers of color, Converse presents another iteration of its popular One Star OX iteration titled “Bold Mandarin/White.” The “Bold Mandarin” colorway is emblazoned on the entire design and is paired with a contrasting white sole. Throw these on with deconstructed denim and a colorful one-shoulder backpack. We’re also really into New Balance’s 247 “Tritium.” This pair features a grey upper and bright pink branded detailing on the outsole. Additionally, the branded “N” is outlined in a crisp white.

Below, take a look at our roundup of coveted sneakers and details on where to purchase each pair.
