Take a Closer Look at Nike's React Element 87 "Dark Grey"

Nike‘s space-age runner, the React Element 87, was first spotted back in March when it debuted at UNDERCOVER‘s show during Paris Fashion Week. In the past few weeks, however, we’ve seen the silhouette teased in varying finishes, including this “Dark Grey” iteration that we can finally take an up-close look at.
True to its name, the sneaker boasts a mostly grey upper although it has a slightly translucent finish, showcasing some of the details below. The inside-out style construction also shows off panels of a creamy “Sail” tone alongside red, white and a darker grey, and exposed zig-zag stitching brings an additional edgy appeal to the shoe. Swooshes appear in miniature form on the toe and heel, and printed larger upon the sidewalls. Beneath lies a slick, futuristic midsole with REACT cushioning and splodges of a vibrant blue hue creeping in from the outsole.
