Reformation Just Dropped Its First-Ever Sunglasses Collection

Reformation officially unveils its first-ever biodegradable sunglasses line. The colorful capsule swiftly follows the Los Angeles brand’s recent successful lingerie launch. Created with 100-percent cellulose acetate sourced directly from Italy, the material was also constructed so it will break down naturally.
The lineup features four frame shapes. The first being the “Patti,” a cat-eye shape which has a bit of a winged shape. This pick comes in “Blush” and “Black.” Up next is the “Bianca,” arriving in “Peach” and “Wine.” This particular staple is an oversized design straight from the ’70s. Next in the range is the “Francoise” frame which features a miniature square shape — this selection is available in “Black” and “Tortoise.” Lastly, the collection includes the “Nina,” a minimalistic option which comes in “Black” and “Speckle.”
It’s important to note that approximately eight million metric tons of plastic are thrown into the ocean each year. With the creation of the capsule using biodegradable materials, Reformation seeks to play a role in providing environmentally-friendly accessory options.
