The Future Is Here – You Can Now Get Cake Served on a Conveyor Belt

Sushi, step aside.

Yes, you read that right. For 1,800 JPY ($16 USD), you can eat as much cake and dessert as possible for 40 minutes at Tokyo’s Cafe Ron Ron. Having been open since July, the new cafe has gained popularity for its unique concept and Instagram-friendly interior. The new restaurant has replaced the popular sushi concept with delicious sweets, serving all food on cute pastel plates on a conveyor belt in front of you. The all-you-can-eat deal also includes a drink, so that you can take breaks in-between all the cakes, baked goods and other desserts.

If you’re passing through Tokyo, make sure to stop by the must-see cafe and stuff your face with sweets for a cheap price. For more cute food, don’t miss California’s newly opened Hello Kitty Cafe.
