Take a First Look at Louis Vuitton's Fall "New Wave" Bag Colorways

Featuring fall-appropriate colorways.

Louis Vuitton has unveiled a look at its latest “New Wave” handbag collection for the Fall/Winter 2018 season. Following up on the original launch the newly designed iterations come in striking colorways and embellishments. In a press release, the luxury fashion house shares that the pieces are “set to amp up a flash-and-clash appeal reminiscent of the ’80s club scene.”

In addition to vintage inspiration, a few of the bags come with badges and patches, similar to the self-personalization accessories from the ’80s. The bags will be available in the following colors soon: fuchsia, emerald yellow, two leopard-print options and a black and denim iteration with patches. Each version comes with a gold chain strap. The leopard print versions in black and pink feature, “Louis Vuitton” branding reminiscent of a vintage rockstar T-shirt. Each other piece includes “VUITTON” in a colorful font as seen on the first drop.

The Fall 2018 “New Wave” bag collection is set to launch later this month. Stay tuned as details emerge on the official drop date.
