Virgil Abloh & IKEA Announce "Still Loading" Paris Pop-Up

Opening on September 29.

Earlier this year, Virgil Abloh and IKEA‘s “MARKERAD” collection received its tentative release schedule. Now, the designer and interior label have officially unveiled details surrounding a forthcoming Paris pop-up. The activation is the first opportunity for fans to purchase the exclusive collaboration.

The pop-up is set to stock four collaborative rugs. These pieces will not be a part of the entire “MARKERAD” collection which will release next year. When speaking about the rugs, Abloh expressed that he wanted them to, “become art pieces you put on the wall just as much as functional objects in a home.” Paris is the first stop of four cities scheduled to host a Virgil Abloh x IKEA pop-up store. Stay tuned here as more details emerge on additional locations.

The Paris pop-up officially opens at 11 a.m. local time on September 29.
