UPDATE: Chiara Ferrgani's Docufilm Will Make Its Debut at Venice Film Festival
The film will feature high-profile cameos including Maria Grazia Chiuri and Donatella Versace.
UPDATE (July 25, 2019): Upon announcing to create a documentary on her life, influencer Chiara Ferragni will be attending the 76th Venice International Film Festival to premiere the docufilm titled Chiara Ferragni – Unposted. The release scheduled for September 4 falls just in line with the tenth anniversary of her digital platform, The Blonde Salad.
The Italian entrepreneur took to Instagram to share her excitement about the news. “I’m almost crying for happiness to announce that the docufilm about my life will be presented at the 2019 Venice Film Festival. Thank you Elisa Amuroso for directing this film and making my childhood dream come true. I couldn’t be more excited for you to see it!” She also opened an account dedicated to the film, with the handle @chiaraferragniunposted.
After its debut, the film will be making its way to Milan where it will be screened on September 16 on the eve of Milan Fashion Week.
2018 was quite a memorable year for Chiara Ferragni, who gave birth to her first child and got married with Italian rapper Federico Leonardo Lucia (better known as Fedez). With the 10th anniversary of her website The Blonde Salad fast approaching, the style maven is about to achieve yet another career milestone this year by releasing her own documentary.
According to WWD, Ferragni is working with Italian director Elisa Amoruso and Memo Films Srl on her upcoming docu-feature. Featuring high-profile cameos from some of the fashion industry’s finest, including Dior‘s Maria Grazia Chiuri, Donatella Versace and Diane von Furstenberg, the film will offer an intimate look at Ferragni’s action-packed work and personal life. It is reported that the filming of the documentary kicked off at the style star’s dreamy wedding last September. Audiences can also expect to see montages from Ferragni’s hectic Fashion Month voyage.
