Here's How Chiara Ferragni's Dior Wedding Dresses and Shoes Were Made
Designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri herself.
On September 1, fashion darling Chiara Ferragni married her longtime partner, Italian rapper Federico Leonardo Lucia (known by his stage name Fedez), in a wedding ceremony in Noto (Sicily). To match the beautiful ceremony, the blogger-cum-designer was dressed in two breathtaking Dior dresses specially designed for the occasion by Maria Grazia Chiuri herself. Inspired by the savoir-faire and crafts of Italy, both the ceremony and ball dresses are stunning creations taken straight out of a fairytale.
Although the ceremony dress is undoubtedly exceptional, the tulle-constructed evening ball gown carries special sentiment for the bride – as a celebration of the couple’s history, the latter is embroidered with motifs and words that bring to mind affectionate memories for the two. The garment is also emblazoned with emblems of the cities in which Chiara and Fedez have lived, as well as a little lion for their son Leone.
You can take a closer look at how Chiara’s wedding dress and shoes were made by the fashion house in the videos above and below. For more of the latest news in luxury fashion, don’t miss our recap of Stockholm Fashion Week SS19.
