Watch the New 'Bombshell' Trailer Starring Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman & Margot Robbie

Based on scandalous story of Fox News’ former chairman and CEO, Roger Ailes.

Based on the real scandal of Fox News’ former chairman and CEO, Roger Ailes, Bombshell follows the story of three women, Megyn Kelly, Gretchen Carlson and Kayla Pospisil, who bring him down for sexual misconduct. The movie stars Charlize Theron as Megyn, Nicole Kidman as Gretchen, and Margot Robbie as Kayla.

In the two-minute trailer, Carlson and Pospisil face inappropriate behavior from Ailes (John Lithgow), while Kelly faces issues of her own. As seen in the clip, Donald Trump makes an offensive joke about her menstrual cycle after a heated debate on TV during the 2016 presidential election. Despite Kelly’s concerns in regard to the whole debacle, Ailes assures her saying: “Nobody stops watching because of a conflict. They stop watching when there isn’t one.”

Other snippets include a scene between Pospisil and Ailes where she asks to be in front of the camera. He replies to her request and says: “I could pluck you out and move you in front of the line but I need to know that you’re loyal. I need you to find a way to prove it.”

Bombshell is set to hit theaters on December 20 this year, so in the meantime watch the full trailer above.
