Camila Cabello Surprises Fans With Release of Dreamy "Living Proof" Music Video
In the lead-up to much-anticipated new album, ‘Romance.’
Just one hour before hitting the red carpet of the American Music Awards, pop star Camila Cabello debuted the music video for her single “Living Proof.” The fairytale-like visual, directed by Alan Ferguson, features Cabello lounging in a sunset-lit field and floating in a stream of flowers. Though the couple performed “Señorita” together at the awards, boyfriend Shawn Mendes doesn’t make an appearance in the video — instead, an unidentified dancer plays Cabello’s love interest.
In addition to the release of the video, Cabello also surprised fans with a behind the scenes look at its making. “The overall concept of the video is a very surrealistic, dreamy, ethereal, sensual, soft landscape,” she says in the short clip, posted on Instagram. ”The song is really about just being intimate with the person you’re in love with and how beautiful and divine and otherworldly that can feel.”
