New Balance Brightens up the 530 Shoe in Neon Yellow
The Y2K-inspired silhouette gets a day-glo treatment.
New Balance has updated its 530 sneaker in statement-worthy sunshine yellow. The retro silhouette features a fitted shape and chunky sole reminiscent of the ’90s and early ’00s.
A shocking yellow mesh upper is detailed with black, gold and tonal overlays in textile and leather. A substantial white ABZORB midsole sits atop a contrasting black outsole. The New Balance logo appears at the tongue and lateral, while black laces pop against the neon upper. A second silver colorway takes a subtler approach, placing yellow and gold overlays against a grey upper. The third and final colorway is constructed of a clean white upper with subtle silver and navy blue detailing.
New Balance 530 in “Yellow,” “White/Yellow” and “White/Navy” retails for $88 USD on Naked and will be released December 2 at 12 p.m. CET.
