The range features sophisticated tailored suits and sleek leather dresses.
Inspired by the radiant color and fragile beauty of nature, Alexander McQueen‘s Spring/Summer 2020 pre-collection lookbook features vibrant colors and floral embroideries throughout its latest designs. The range’s color palette is predominantly bright and saturated, contrasted with black, white, amber, red, ivory, khaki and army green.
Key apparel pieces in this collection include the red openwork lace knit dress featuring bands of crochet-macramé effect stitching. The ruffled dresses in the same red tone and orchid pink arrive with open or frilled necklines in cotton silk taffeta and tiered, buttoned hems. In addition, the range offers a black single-breasted light wool silk jacket with an asymmetric drape embroidered with circular silk faille in hibiscus pink.
Footwear in this line features tread slick high and low cut boots that have canvas uppers and white or black double layered rubber soles. As for accessories, jewelry ranges from tubular chokers and bangles to oversized multi-colored hoop earrings in antique silver and gold. Bags include the Story bag that has been incorporated with a feminine polished brass top handle and a cross-body strap finished with stud detailing.
