A Closer Look at the Upcoming sacai x Nike LDWaffle in "White"

Rumored to be hitting shelves in Spring 2020.

Following a handful of teasers across social media, a closer look at the upcoming sacai x LDWaffle has surfaced in “White.” The coveted Nike silhouette has already seen five colorways, including the grey version that dropped earlier this year, and now the shoe is back in an all-over white design.

Taking on Chitose Abe‘s signature deconstructed and reconstructed aesthetic, the shoe playfully takes on a layered design that features double lacing as well as Swoosh logos across the lateral. In true sacai fashion, the shoe is made up of textured panelling, giving the shoe depth and an eye-catching look ideal for day-to-day wear. The all-white iteration differs from pervious releases, as the mesh base has been switched for a thicker nylon material, as well as suede panelling.

The sacai x Nike LDWaffle is rumored to release in both black and white colorways in Spring 2020, looking at a release date in March or April. The sneakers will reportedly be priced at $160 USD. Get a closer look at the silhouette in the gallery above, and stay tuned as more information surrounding the shoe surfaces.
