Dine at Gucci's Upcoming Los Angeles Restaurant
Kering’s second Gucci-branded restaurant.
Luxury hotspot Rodeo Drive is set to welcome another extravagant attraction, a Gucci restaurant. Its opening, planned for Spring 2020, will mark parent company Kering‘s second restaurant, and its first outside of Italy. The company previously opened Gucci Garden, a boutique, exhibition space and restaurant in Florence in 2018.
The announcement follows a spate of fashion brands such as A.P.C., Aimé Leon Dore and Fendi opening branded cafés around the world. As reported by WWD, fellow parent company LVMH, has also been eyeing Rodeo Drive. Beginning in March 2018 LVMH began purchasing neighboring property on the promenade totaling more than 50,000 square feet. Sources allege that the luxury conglomerate, which recently purchased Tiffany & Co., is plotting to open a Dior restaurant and a Cheval Blanc hotel.
