Dr. Martens' "Living Coral" Platform Sandals Are Perfect for Festival Season

Dr. Martens is undoubtedly best known for its sturdy, timeless boots but its foray into sandals is just as cool. This season, the brand has unveiled the gladiator-inspired Blaire sandal in a selection of pastel hues, including Pantone’s Color of the Year 2019 – “Living Coral.”
The base of the sandal features a slight platform for a boost of height but it’s still comfortable thanks to the lightweight feel of the sole, arched footbed and the padded collar. There’s also the trademark Goodyear welt around the shoe, complete with statement yellow stitching. In keeping with the gladiator style, there are multiple straps across the midfoot, each in that on-trend peach tone and around the ankle is an adjustable tonal buckle fastening. To complete, there’s Dr. Martens’ signature branded heel tab at the back. If coral isn’t your color, the sandal is also available in light lemon yellow and powder blue.
