Kendall Jenner Enters Beauty Industry, Launching Affordable Teeth Whitening Pen
An on-the-go product in collaboration with oral hygiene brand Moon.
Kendall Jenner has officially announced that she’ll be teaming up with the Los Angeles-based vegan oral hygiene company Moon. According to Harper’s Bazaar, Kendall co-collaborated with the brand to help create a Whitening Pen. You may remember a few months back when the supermodel became the face of acne line Proactiv; this is now her latest venture into the beauty market.
Originally created by Shaun Neff, the company was created to elevate your oral hygiene with safe ingredients and aesthetically pleasing packaging. At the moment, on Moon’s website, you are able to purchase a mouth wash, activated charcoal whitening toothpaste, dental floss and a two-pack of soft-bristle toothbrushes. In a video posted on Moon’s Instagram, Jenner breaks down that she was involved in the process of backing the rising beauty company.
Later in the clip she shared:
“I used to not know how to smile. That’s a fun fact. It was really cool being a part of the building process. It is really based on oral beauty and it goes back to even the aesthetic thing and how it looks really nice on your counter. One of many cool things about Moon is that I think that the whole idea is really chic and you’re not like afraid to have it out and be like, ‘I’m excited. Ask me about it, please.’”
The travel-friendly Whitening Pen was designed to be used as a brush-on product. A few key ingredients include, light-reflecting particles and carbamide peroxide. Additionally, the product features an antioxidant blend of lavender oil, whitening strawberry extract, vanilla mint flavor and honeysuckle flower. The aforementioned ingredients provide an instant and long-term whitening effect.
