A Closer Look at Louis Vuitton's FW19 Collection Featuring Cozy Teddy Fleece Bags

Inspired by the ’80s.

Louis Vuitton‘s Fall/Winter 2019 presentation at Paris Fashion Week was a colorful showcase filled with vibrant accessories and experimental silhouettes. Hosted at the Louvre museum, the house’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière sent each model down the runway in pieces reminiscent of the glamorous ’80s. We recently were able to take a closer look at the lineup at the Louis Vuitton showroom.

A major part of the range includes the muted colors selected for the cozy teddy fleece handbags. Snakeskin-inspired mini-bags also appeared in rainbow hues such as orange, pink, green and purple. This style was also seen in the form of a wallet and larger carry-all reminiscent of the iconic Hermès Kelly bag. A circular iteration featuring a top handle was also in the lineup in shades of yellow and teal.

More eye-catching accessories consisted of pieces created with the French fashion house’s iconic monogram. Additionally, the showroom highlights shoulder bags, Archlight sneakers and Laureate Platform Desert boots which were constructed with updated logo designs.

In the imagery above, take an in-depth look at staple selections and clothing. In total, Louis Vuitton’s FW19 range was filled with playful, vintage-inspired motifs.
