'The Sims' & Moschino Launch Virtual Reality-Inspired SS19 Collection
Dropping IRL and within the game.
As a follow-up to its game show-themed Milan Fashion Week presentation, Moschino reveals its latest collaboration. For its new collection, Jeremy Scott has decided to partner with the fan-favorite game, The Sims. The range is set to launch at his Palm Springs Desert Party.
For the Spring/Summer 2019 ready-to-wear and accessories capsule, Moschino merges fashion items with pixelated designs from The Sims world. Selected motifs include the Plumbob emblem, Freezer Bunny and the Uni-Lama character — they will be emblazoned on eight exclusive pieces. Debuting in a virtual reality-themed lookbook, the collection features swimwear, T-shirts, hoodies, colorful separates and more. Additionally, the new partnership will not only launch physically in-stores, but it will also drop digitally in The Sims.
In an official statement, Scott shares his thoughts on the collaboration:
“I love the idea of being able to imagine, design and bring to life a world of individual personas with The Sims universe… That concept emulates what I get to do for each collection at Moschino as I create a fantasy universe of spectacular storylines and characters.”
Moschino’s SS19 collection will be available in-store at Moschino boutiques worldwide and moschino.com on April 13. It will also drop on The Sims 4, The Sims Mobile and The Sims FreePlay. Check out the lookbook in the gallery above.
