Nike's Tactical Sneaker Collaboration With ALYX's Matthew Williams Is Here

UPDATE: Following the reveal of the upcoming collaboration, Matthew Williams’ upcoming MMW x Nike Free TR Flyknit 3 sneakers have just released on SSENSE, in both white and black, priced at $325 USD. Created in partnership with Vibram, the new shoe takes on a sock-like design complete with Matthew Williams’ signature tactical aesthetic.
Fresh off collaborations with COMME des GARÇONS and sacai, Nike has just revealed its latest project with 1017 ALYX 9SM designer Matthew Williams. Having previously teamed up for two collections of apparel as well as footwear, this time around the two are debuting a brand-new take on the Nike Free TR 3 SP silhouette, complete with detachable Vibram sole units.
Arriving in both a black and a white colorway, the sneaker features a tredy sock-inspired design equipped with a plastic unit at front, where the Vibram sole can be attached. The shoe can be worn both with and without the chunky add-on, and is finished off with Matthew Williams’ text branding at the lateral.
There’s yet no official release date for the upcoming Matthew Williams x Nike Free TR 3 SP sneakers, but the shoes are expected to arrive within the next few months. Keep your eyes peeled as any updates surface.
