There's Still a Chance to Cop the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Shox

Black or white?

UPDATE 07/04: If you missed out on the first release of the coveted COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Shox TL sneakers, you now have a second chance to cop the blinged-out trainers. Arriving in white and black colorways, the sneaker sports the “COMME des GARÇONS” metal hardware chain across the upper, sat atop a futuristic midsole.

At $330 USD, you can now get your hands on the exclusive collaboration over at SSENSE. Let us know if you’ll be copping in the comments below.

UPDATE 06/10: Following the initial launch in Japan, the highly anticipated COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Shox TL has finally gotten worldwide release dates. The blinged-out shoe will launch in Paris and London as well as select retailers across Europe on June 11, and in the U.S. on June 14 for $330 USD.

After revealing the release date for the coverable COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Shox TL this weekend, we’ve managed to get our hands on a pair of the sneakers in the black colorway. Taking on Nike‘s retro Shox silhouette, the sneaker sees a boosted midsole as well as an all-black upper featuring distressed Swoosh detailing at the lateral. The tongue also sees the same cut-and-sew aesthetic, finished off with black laces and co-branding at top. Of course the shoe also sports it’s eye-catching detachable chain detailing in gold, with the “COMME des GARÇONS” logo front and center.

The chunky silhouette also arrives in an all-white hue accompanied with a silver hardware chain, also dropping alongside the white iteration. Set to retail at ¥39,000 JPY (approximately $357 USD), the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Shox TL is set to drop worldwide on June 13. The sneaker is currently available at the CDG Aoyama store as well as CDG locations across Japan, and will drop at Dover Street Market Ginza on May 26. Peep the silhouette in the gallery above, and let us know if you’ll be copping.
