Fendi and South Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster have linked up on a collaborative sunglasses capsule titled “Gentle Fendi.” The range officially launched on April 30 and features an eccentric design paired with Fendi’s immense attention to detail. Two unisex silhouettes make up the collection.
In celebration of the collab, the two brands have launched a pop-up space in the Gentle Monster flagship store in addition to an installation entitled the Gentle Fendi Café. Upon entering you’ll spot a woman with an ‘FF’ logo look. Within the space customers get a closer look at both eyewear models, the Gentle Fendi No. 1 and No. 2. The first of the two includes a cat-eye frame accentuated with logo detailing throughout while the No. 2 features an oversized, aviator-like frame alongside bright accents. Each option comes in three different colorways.
The café located in “The Garden” will be hosted for roughly three months and features whimsical aesthetics. Within this section of the flagship you will come across red gravel, cactus plants and a gelato bar. Snacks will be served here with natural ingredients and seasonal fruits alongside ice cream with co-branded details. On the second floor, there are food and drink options inspired by natural elements like moss, pears and bananas.
The Gentle Monster x Fendi installation will be three months long, beginning May 8 and ending on July 29. Customers are free to check out the various art installations, based on the collection and brands. The aforementioned treats will also be available for purchase.
