Nike's Air Force 1 Arrives With a Python-Print Snakeskin Swoosh
An on-trend update.
The Nike Air Force 1 is undoubtedly a timeless sneaker, but every now and then it drops in an on-trend update that you don’t want to miss out on. Such is the case with the coveted “96 Snake” iteration, which originally hit shelves way back in 1996; but luckily for those who’ve been longingly dreaming for a re-release, the trainer is making a comeback 23 years later.
The smooth, white leather upper of the AF1 remains largely the same, with all those details you’ve come to know and love in tact. True to the original style, there are white laces, stitching and a crisp midsole to match. The Swoosh on the lateral side however, is covered in a snakeskin-style fabric that mimics a chic python print – which also lands on a panel on the heel. Rounding out the look is the embroidered Nike Air text branding on the heel and textile tab on the tongue.
