RIMOWA's New Range of Colorful Suitcases Is a Must-Have

Arriving in four new colors inspired by remote locations.

For its latest collection, luxury suitcase maker RIMOWA has added colorful iterations of its Essential Cabin, Essential Check-In L and Essential Trunk Plus models. This time around, the classic bags are inspired by remote areas normally seen from airplane windows, which RIMOWA describes as “fleeting impressions of secluded places so often passed over that still beg to be visited.”

Introducing four new colors, “Coral” which is inspired by Pink Lake in Western Australia, “Slate” based on the hues of Indonesian mines, “Sage” referencing the Lake District in North West England, and lastly “Saffron” taking on the look of canola flowers in Tuscany. The suitcases get coated in the new shades, covering everything including the handle, zipper and wheel housing.

The new colorways of the RIMOWA Essential size will be available in-store as well as at RIMOWA.com on June 6. As for prices, the Essential Cabin will retail at $700 USD, Check-In L at $900 USD and Trunk Plus at $1,120 USD. Take your pick in the gallery above.
