Take a Look at the Upcoming COMME des GARÇONS x Air Jordan 1 Retro High

Following COMME des GARÇONS‘ highly anticipated Nike Shox collaboration launching this week, the Japanese label has just revealed another collaboration with the Swoosh, this time taking on the classic Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi silhouette. The design surfaced in January, and now we’re getting a closer look at the potential release.
Arriving in tonal iterations of both black and white, the Fall/Winter 2019 release takes inspiration from biker culture and is an avant-garde take on the signature sporty sneaker. Sporting a chunky cross-strap at top complete with chunky metallic hardware, the shoe combines CDG’s iconic aesthetic with the retro look of the Air Jordan 1. To finish off the shoe, Jordan branding is found on the panels, heels and ankle flaps, as well as CDG and Jordan co-branding atop the tongue.
As of now, there’s yet no information as to the official release date and pricing details of the upcoming COMME des GARÇONS x Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi, but make sure to watch this space as any updates surface.
