Nike Just Dropped Three Cortez Silhouettes in Its New "Shoe Dog" Pack
A trip down memory lane.
After its recent collaboration with Stranger Things on a pair of Cortez, Nike has just released three new designs of the silhouette inspired by Phil Knight’s book “Shoe Dog.” The pack comes in three versions – “Nike,” “Falcon” and “Dimension Six” – all paying homage to the co-founder/chairman’s life and the early days of his company.
The “Nike” pair features Carolyn Davidson’s original slim Swoosh logo in red while its other side is in a modern version in plain white. The main attraction of the “Falcon” is, of course, a red falcon on its lateral side which has been embroidered with the word “Falcon” in gold instead of the classic Nike tick. Knight’s first choice among the three shoes was actually the “Dimension Six” which showcases a blue midfoot rectangle shape with a red circle and text logo above it. To top it off, all of the classic Cortez models have been designed with zig-zag edges, exposed foam tongue and minimalist leather.
The “Shoe Dog Pack” is now available for purchase on Nike.com retailing at $120 USD.
