Here's a Closer Look at Vans' BMX 40th Anniversary Collection
Channel your inner rider.
Ever since 1979, Vans has supported BMX, making it the first brand to support the sport. In celebration of its 40th anniversary, the shoe manufacturing company has collaborated with BMX debuting its Anniversary Collection for men and women featuring an array of footwear and apparel inspired by the heyday of parking lot ramp demonstrations, neon-clad kids and a longstanding form of creative expression.
The range showcases the Sk8-Hi Reissue and Era silhouettes constructed with Vans’ classic canvas and suede combination designed with the iconic Checkerboard print available in the colorways “Share Green,” “White” and “True Navy.” Other than footwear, the line includes eight new apparel and accessory styles for both genders.
Key styles highlight the women’s BMX Jacket fabricated with poly flight satin shell while the men’s BMX Off The Wall Track Pant has been designed with Checkerboard printed detailing down the leg matching with the BMX Off The Wall Anorak with contrasting sleeves and front pocket detailing. Other pieces like the women’s BMX Muscle Tank, women’s BMX Pant, the BMX Off The Wall long sleeve and the iconic BMX Painters Cap complete the entire collection.
