adidas Originals' Continental Vulc Sneakers Are Inspired by '80s Fitness
Retro vibes.
adidas Originals has been releasing a lot of vintage style sneakers this year, including the Continental 80 “Flared.” The latest release is an iteration of the Continental sneaker, dubbed the Continental Vulc, arriving in “Cloud White/Collegiate Green.”
Inspired by ’80s fitness, the adidas sneaker screams retro vibes. The upper is made of smooth white leather paired with nubuck to add some texture to the shoe. An abrasion-resistant, pale beige suede mudguard sits on the toe cap, giving the sneaker a worn-in look while still feeling fresh. The outsole rubber has been vulcanized at a high temperature to ensure longer wear and durability. Giving a pop of color, the heel cap and adidas logos on the tongue and lateral are in a deep green shade.
