BILLY'S x Converse Debut an Exclusive Leopard-Print Jack Purcell "Blend"
Find out its release date here.
Japanese retailer BILLY’S is about to release a unique pair of the Converse Jack Purcell “Blend” incorporated with leopard-print and brown suede panels. The classic low-top sneakers feature mismatched uppers against a textured animal print fabric.
As you can see, the right shoe’s leopard print takes over the entire lateral side and the print completely covers the left shoe’s tongue. To create contrast, the right sneaker boasts corduroy fabric on the tongue while the left shoe has the same material, but on its medial side. Both pairs have incorporated suede on their left sides while other details include white laces and soles to create a clean look against the brown hues. To finish it off, the iconic Purcell “smile” can be seen on the toe cap in a navy blue shade.
The BILLY’S x Converse Jack Purcell “Blend” retails for ¥11,000 JPY (approximately $100 USD) and will be available on August 30 at BILLY’S Shibuya. Pre-orders commence on the label’s website on August 24. In case you missed it, check out Converse’s sustainable Chuck 70s made with upcycled denim.
