Dover Street Market London Reveals New SS20 Collections With 'New Beginnings'
New permanent spaces from Marine Serre, Cecile Bahnsen, Kiko Kostadinov and more.
A new season, a ‘New Beginning’: Dover Street Market London is back again with all-new revamped and reimagined spaces across its store in Haymarket for SS20. A bi-annual occurrence, DSM stores across all six of its locations around the world go through the ultimate seasonal changeover, wiping out past interiors, outdated collections and quite literally everything within the store to make new room for the upcoming season’s offerings. Dubbed the ‘New Beginning’ period – transpiring every January and July – it’s considered to be one of the most exciting periods in the retailer’s annual calendar.
The store will be debuting the latest iteration of its New Beginnings for SS20 on January 11. As well as reworked visual spaces, the collections housed within will be refreshed and up-to-date, specially picked out and curated by co-founder Rei Kawakubo and the DSM team.
Alongside a special installation from COMME des GARÇONS on the ground floor, you can expect to see permanent spaces from Marine Serre, Cecilie Bahnsen, Roberts Wood and Kiko Kostadinov, event spaces from Fucking Awesome and CDG, a PLAY COMME des GARÇONS Pocket Shop, DSM specials from brands such as Gucci x DSM, Doublet, Craig Green, further arrivals from Moncler x Alyx, Nike x Colin Kaepernick, Raf Simons as well as others, a DSM Sneaker Space update from adidas, Salomon, Converse and Nike, and new installations from brands like Lemaire, Novesta, Abra, Unsung Weavers and Francesco Russo.
