Louis Vuitton Presents SS20 Women's Campaign Featuring Emma Stone
Inspired by the Belle Époque era.
Louis Vuitton has released imagery for their new women’s campaign for Spring/Summer 2020, a collection within which LV’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquièré, has been heavily inspired by the Belle Époque era.
Shot by photographer Collier Schorr in London’s well-known Park Lane Hotel, the campaign has been captured in a series of disparate moments frozen in time. This lends itself to a feeling of suspense, accentuating the intricate details found within the collection even more than at first glance. The decadence and exuberance that characterized the Belle Époque era is recreated and worn by LV ambassador Emma Stone and Chinese actress Zhong Chuxi – as well as a larger cast of models – and the bold Art Déco architecture of Park Lane gives the campaign an authentic feel of something out of the past.
Alongside the show looks from the upcoming season, the campaign shines a light on the latest LV handbags: the new Vanity in Monogram and the Dauphine, now coming in Epi leather and suede.
The campaign will debut in February via a selection of magazines worldwide. A series of short films are also expected to release to push the same energy and zest of the campaign.
