Nike's "Chinese New Year" Air Jordan 1 Low Features Pink Festive Graphics
Featuring heritage patterns and floral decorations.
Following the release of the “Year of the Rat” collection, Nike and Jordan Brand have unveiled another festive design incorporated into the Air Jordan 1 Low silhouette in celebration of the upcoming holiday. The “Chinese New Year” colorway features bold graphic prints and asymmetrical color-blocking arriving in black, pink and grey shades.
Vibrant “Firework” and “Wind Kite” patterns can be found between the toe boxes and the lateral on each pair. Introduced in 2019 as part of its “Year of the Pig” capsule, the “Bai Jia Yi” arrangement appears on both of the iconic Swooshes. Additionally, floral decorations and an embossed Chinese coin graphic have been incorporated into the new iteration. Distinct fabric textures appear across the overlays ranging from smooth black leather to grey suede. Finally, the heel features ridged patent leather reminiscent of Chinese sky lanterns.
Take a detailed look at the festive shoe in the gallery above. Nike’s “Chinese New Year” Air Jordan 1 Low retails for ¥1,099 CNY (approximately $158 USD) which is set to release via Nike SNKRS CN on January 10.
